The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is proud to offer a full-service, state-of-the-art commercial kitchen designed to meet small, mid-sized and large catering needs throughout the facility.
Spacious refrigeration space, large dry-storage rooms, newly-designed ovens, efficient dishwashers, sinks, and plentiful counter space will enable our in-house chef to create delectable meals for any occasion.
The kitchen is directly adjacent to our Fellowship Hall – a dining area which comfortably seats over 350 guests.
Kevin Newlin, CEC
Kevin Newlin, the Kroc Center’s Executive Chef, oversees all food service operations. Formerly the Executive Chef and adjunct instructor for the Institute for the Culinary Arts at Metropolitan Community College, Chef Newlin brings 22 years of culinary experience to the center and is a Certified Executive Chef through the American Culinary Federation. Currently serving as president of the local ACF chapter, Kevin has held Chefs positions at several local restaurants and country clubs.
